Steve & Mary came to stay as hostellers last year, and we hit it off with them immediately. We found we had a lot in common (no mention of Mazda’s here though), and shared a certain sense of humour! Steve and Mary were also very appreciative of the quirky touches in the hostel, and we all agreed that we all appreciate the work of Charles Rennie Mackintosh (see http://www.crmsociety.com/ to be inspired)
Then we discovered Steve’s exceptional photography, and an idea for a great collaboration was spawned! Steve has just spent a few days at the hostel working for his board – and the photo collection of The Old School Hostel on his website is the result of that hard graft. We are extremely impressed with his photos and we intend to use them on a new improved website for the hostel, but that’s still a little way off. So in the meantime please follow the link to his site for some interesting shots of the hostel, and while you are there take a look at the rest of his work, you’ll be pleased you did!
